In 10 Years..

Ten years from now, I will have graduated from John Carroll and college. I would like to be working as a therapist or psychiatrist. I would like to help kids who have parents that are divorced or parents that fight a lot. I would like to have this job because I know how hard it is. I want to help as much as I can because it is a very difficult situation to be in when your a kid. I would like to work in Los Angeles, California or New York City, New York.  There are a lot of  less fortunate families that have problems in these areas. Also, I could go and help out at poor inner city schools. These cities are both very large, but they have poor areas. Which means poor schools, poor housing, and poor families. Some pull factors to live in Los Angeles is that I just love it there. I have been there a few times and I like being close to the beach, the city, and the mountains. Some push factors would be that I would be very far from the East Coast which is wear my family is. I would miss them too much. If anything were to happen they would be on the other side of the country and it would be hard to get to them. Some pull factors to living in New York would be that it is very close to my hometown and right in the middle between my families. I also really like New York City because its a really beautiful place. Some push factors would be that in the winter it would get very cold and there would be snow, and I hate cold weather and snow. Also New York is very crowded and it is an expensive city to live in.
